The final cost of your cake depends on its size and the complexity of the design. Intricate details - handcrafted sugar flowers, elaborate piping, or bespoke decorations - are calculated separately.
Below are the starting prices for my most popular sizes, but I can easily create larger or smaller options to suit your day. For a personalised quote, please complete the enquiry form here. Portions and Budgets Your quote is based on the number of portions you need and your chosen design. As a helpful starting point, allow around £7.50 per guest for a fully decorated, set-up cake with large dessert portions, or roughly £4 per guest for smaller finger portions. Elaborate details or longer delivery distances will adjust these estimates. |

What Affects the Final Price?

1. Portion and Tier Size
The slice size you choose plays a major role in the overall cost. A finger portion (the traditional wedding size) is 1" x 1" x the height of the tier - perfect after a three-course meal with coffee. A dessert portion is 2" x 1" x the height of the tier, a more generous slice suited to serving as dessert in its own right. I usually offer two tier heights: Classic rise (4" tall) - two layers of cake with one layer of filling. Tall rise (6" tall) - three layers of cake with two layers of filling. 2. Design Detail Minimalist, understated designs are naturally more budget-friendly. Highly ornate finishes - sculptural elements, elaborate piping, or other special techniques - take more time and craftsmanship, which increases the final price. 3. Your Choice of Flowers Sugar Flowers - hand-sculpted from sugar, these make beautiful, permanent keepsakes, but they take a high level of artistry and a lot of time to create, which is reflected in the final cost. Silk Flowers - high-quality, 'real-feel' faux flowers offer a convincing and budget-friendly alternative. Fresh Flowers - natural flowers are hard to beat for how delicate and beautiful they look. I can style flowers provided by your own florist using food-safe techniques, at no extra cost. |
